These two important paintings, which are attributed to Flurer, indicate that the painter knew the work of Luca Carlevarijs (from the end of the 17th century), Marco Ricci and Tempesta. Of particular interest are the staffage figures, people and animals, which recall the Roman 17th century bamboccianti.
